Fen Bog specialities.....
Male Keeled Skimmer.
Teneral male Keeled Skimmer.
A visit to this superb area today with Colin,to do a bit of recording and photography,saw us not doing too badly.I had really wanted to try and get some better images of Keeled Skimmer than i already had and was pleased with todays efforts.Sightings wise,we managed 5 Golden-ringed Dragonfly,what a Dragon these are,stunning!,35 Keeled Skimmer,of various ages,but mostly tenerals,2 Four-spot Chaser and at least 10 Large-red Damselfly.So these sightings coupled with brilliant scenery and all the other wildlife and birds made up for a cracking day!.
